SIBERIAN(ALTAY) IBEX ( Capra sibirica
sibirica) HUNT
You have chance to get to know about unique
flora and fauna, traditions and national culture of people
of mountain region. Areas of hunt are locating to high
altitude areas of inner Tian-Shan with the elevation of
more than 3500m. above sea to Aksay and Arpa valleys,
650-700km. from Bishkek.
The camp has the required outfit, equipment,
horses, comfortable cottages and yurts for rest, electric
power supply, and abundance of water, high- quality of
food and experience guides. Hunting is on horseback or
on foot, by chase or because of an ambush. It is possible
to get an additional trophy of Ibex for additional pay
during such kind of hunting. Hunt for Siberian Ibex carry
out one in a two method: “by approach” or “by driving”.
Hunt of “concealment by approach” is very widespread.
Hunter must has the rifle with strong sporting cartridge
for hunting goat. Distance of the shooting into goat is
long often. Rifle has to be strong and accurate. Hunting
with telescopic sight will be very effective.
Sport hunt in excellent hunting areas in
CIS. Real opportunity to take really big trophies. Ibex
differs in body size and skin color (from almost black
to light grey) as well as in trophy size (shape, length
and circumference of the horns) depending on the hunting
area. There are four different subspecies of Ibex we distinguish:
Tian Shan, Pamir, Altay or Siberian ibex. There are experienced
guides, English interpreter, cook, helpers in every camp.
Trophy horns may be up to 55 in (140 cm).
